If you’re anything like me, when you hear “Queen Mary,” you immediately think of the ship, transformed into a hotel, in Long Beach, California. Reportedly haunted, the hotel boasts more than 150 spirits. While not violent, the ghosts still make their presence known.

The Resurrection of George Washington

Every American knows the name, George Washington. Not only is his face on the $1 bill, he was a General during the Revolutionary War and became America’s first president. Washington was loved by many – the people, his family  and his friends. One such friend rushed to his side as he lay dying, but was too late. This friend, Dr. William Thornton hatched a plan to resurrect the president.

The Haunted Shiloh National Military Park

Fought From April 12, 1861 – May 9. 1865, the American Civil War saw between 600,000 and 1,000,000 casualties. Among them were approximately 50,000 civilians, and 80,000 slaves. One battle, the Battle of Corinth, saw more than 23,000 casualties. It’s no wonder the Shiloh National Military Park, located in southern Tennessee, is haunted.

John Jones and the Nutty Putty Cave

For those who love to explore, spelunking is a favorite activity. The art of exploring caves on an increasingly difficult level adds to the adrenaline, easily making it an addictive form of pleasure. For John Jones and his family, caving and spelunking was a cherished part of childhood. As an adult, despite having grown up, the love was still there, so it was no surprise when John and his brother Josh decided to explore the Nutty Putty Cave.
