Bredo Morstøl, The Frozen Dead Guy

Cryonics is the practice or technique of deep-freezing the bodies of people who have just died, in the hope that scientific advances may allow them to be revived in the future. For Trygve Bauge, the death of his grandfather opened a door for him to pilot cryonics. Today, he is legendary, and oddly celebrated annually as “Frozen Dead Guy Days.”

Rodney Alcala and the Dating Game

With shows like The Bachelor and Love is Blind, reality TV dating has never been more popular. Shows like these all date back to the very first dating show, The Dating Game, which premiered in 1965. After 13 years on the air, The Dating Game had their most controversial contestant ever – Rodney Alcala. A contestant who was later convicted of sex crimes as well as murder.

The Acid Bath Murderer

Do you remember that scene in Breaking Bad, where Jesse Pinkman used acid to dissolve a body? Mythbusters actually did an episode where they tried to prove or disprove the science behind it. While they concluded that the acid/methods used in Breaking Bad did not quite get the job done, murderer John Haigh did use a method that worked. We know him as the Acid Bath Murderer.
